Craig’s version of our story:

Nataliia and I first met in 2017 when we were both living in the same building in Alexandria, Virginia. I had recently gotten home from a shift at work and decided to take the trash out. I changed into a pair of comfy shorts and was still in my undershirt when I walked down the hallway of our building to the trash room. On the way back as I was walking down the hallway a door opened just as I was passing by. It was Nataliia. She had a jar in her hand and asked me if I could help her open it. Till this day I still think she spying on me and was patiently waiting for me to pass by so she could ask for my help. She invited me in and I reluctantly followed as I was unsure if she lived alone at the time. She handed me the jar of some weird pickled vegetables and I used a utensil to bang on the sides to loosen up the seal and opened the jar. She thanked me for helping her and I left. Thank goodness for those weird pickled vegetables because without them I may have never met the love of my life.

Nataliia and I bumped into each other just a few days later in the elevator. We had a casual conversation and I recall she asked me if I lived alone. I responded that I did and asked her the same. She stated she did which is when I finally got the courage to ask her out. This resulted in the first of many dates. Every single date I fell more in love with Nataliia a pattern that continues to this day. Despite the obstacles that life has put in our way our love for one another continues to grow by the second. I truly believe that we were fated to meet in the hallway that day and will be forever grateful that we did. Nataliia is truly the love of my life and I can’t imagine spending it with anyone else.

Nataliia’s version of our story:

Craig and I first met in 2017 when we both were living in “BLVD2801” Apartment building in Alexandria, Virginia. I was having cravings that day and bought jars of pickled cabbage and marinated mushrooms from Eastern European store…after several unsuccessful attempts to open either jar, I decided to step outside in a hallway and check if my neighbor from apartment across was available to help. When I opened the door there was this big guy with tattoos right outside my door. He had this really tight undershirt on that was too small like he was trying to show off his muscles. Looking back at that perfect timing, I suspect he was creepily hanging around my door hoping to get a chance to talk to me. I reluctantly asked for his help and invited him inside. He nervously entered my apartment and did a great job opening the jars! He was very shy and when I thanked him replied “Your welcome Ma’am” and quickly left my apartment. A few days later I was getting in the elevator and ran into Craig again. We had a brief conversation during which he made it known to me that he lived alone and cooked the best steak in town! I remember he was dressed for work and looked much more presentable than the first time we met. Not sure if it was his bright smile, his talk about steak, or the gun under his jacket that made my head spin! Whatever; it was I gave him a chance and I’m so glad I did because here we are today!

-Post Wedding Reception Immediately following ceremony.

-No rooms are being held for you at this time.

-Each guest is required to pay $150/person deposit to secure their own room.

-The deposit can be made through your wedding website.

-The rate is locked in at the time the deposit is made.

-Any changes to the reservation will re-price the reservation to the current rates.

We recommend that our guests book their rooms as soon as possible in order to take advantage of Destify's flexible payment plans. Price match is available. Please refer to FAQ. Nevertheless, we encourage guests to purchase airfare directly from the airlines.

Visitors of Mexico are no longer required to present negative covid test upon arrival.

United States currently requires a negative covid test prior to return. Covid tests will be provided on site by the resort and scheduled upon check in.
